16th January 2023 – The finalist in the Best Mobile Operator at the National Fish and Chip Awards 2023 have today been announced by the National Federation of Fish Friers.
After an extensive judging process completed by an anonymous panel of industry experts, the final three include:
- JoJo’s, Stafford
- Pimp My Fish, Newmarket
- The Chippie Van, Penrith
The Best Mobile Operator category celebrates businesses which operate mobile fish and chips vans or trailers not only demonstrating high standards serving many rural locations but also catering for weddings and corporate events. This category is sponsored by Kerry Foods.
President of the NFFF, Andrew Crook, said: “Mobile fish and chip units have many different challenges to bricks and mortar businesses and to keep standards consistently high is testament to the professionalism of these finalists. Whether serving rural communities or making z couples special day event more special these business have to be organised and at the top of their game every time. ”
The National Fish and Chip Awards are hosted by The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF), on the 28th of February 2023 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
Although the guest list is mainly industry-focused, tickets are open to the general public and discounted accommodation is available with ticket sales.
