As president of the National Federation of Fish Friers and over 27 years experience of running fish and chip businesses I am passionate about not only promoting the industry but also raising standards, exactly what these awards are all about.
The Official National Fish and Chip Awards are the main event in the fish and chip calendar and it is an honour to be the custodians of such a prestigous event, run for the fish and chip industry by the fish and chip industry.
STUART DEVINE MBE
VICE PRESIDENT – NATIONAL FEDERATION OF FISH FRIERS
Stuart is a former winner of the Takeaway of the Year with his flagship store The Ashvale in Aberdeen. He has run multiple sites in Scotland and is one of the most respected fish and chip operators in Scotland.
Awarded an MBE for his services to fish and chips and his charity work Stuart has a lifetime of knowledge of the fish and chip industry.
CAROLINE MURPHY
TREASURER – NATIONAL FEDERATION OF FISH FRIERS
Caroline is one of the owners of the Wetherby Whaler Group operating six restaurants and a takeaway in West Yorkshire. Operating such a large operation gives Caroline a great perspective of the industry and especially multsite operations and what it takes to develop and nuture a large team.
